Happy 1-year Anniversary to us (July 30th)! Our Northern Colorado Indian Motorcycle Riders Group members have certainly done a lot over the past year since the first Coal Creek Canyon Inaugural Ride. We’ve gone on breakfast rides, lunch rides, and our first dinner ride. Riding and visiting good food establishments certainly go hand-in-hand with this group, but it brings us all closer together. We’ve gone on short rides, long rides, and a very long multi-day ride to the Durango Rendezvous. We’ve gone on scheduled rides, impromptu rides, and rides with last minute destination changes (Mother Nature certainly lost her mind this Spring by keeping Winter lingering on). Yeah, we like to ride. To help keep us safe while out riding, we’ve benefited from several motorcycle skills trainings, and road officer trainings.
We’ve also had lots of fun at Indian Motorcycle of Fort Collins where we have our monthly Chapter meetings, and won lots of free raffle gifts from the dealership for which we are very grateful. In addition to participating in Demo Days at the dealership, we’ve had a pot luck, and celebrated Christmas and our Chapter Anniversary at the dealership.
Though we may still be trying to find out who we are as a group, it’s safe to say we are starting to crystalize and are forming friendships, which will ultimately define who we are as a group. With all this, we are only just getting started. We have lots of events remaining for this year to catapult us into next year toward celebrating our 2nd Chapter Anniversary. We can hardly wait!
