Our first educational motorcycle rider skills training session of the year for Chapter members and guests will be at Timberline Church in Fort Collins from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Our very own certified instructor, Paul Carroll, will be teaching us motorcycle skills to help keep us safe out on the road. As we have stated before, you can come for all or some of this training as it is completely FREE of charge and worth your time. This is open to all skill levels, and also to both two and three wheels. Those who have come out before stated they learned a great deal!
These sessions are designed to build and enforce safety, emergency, and general riding skills for beginner to advanced riders. Topics include slow speed riding skills, parking skills, obstacle avoidance maneuvers, mental alertness while riding, and more!
You will learn a lot by just coming and trying different maneuvering techniques with coaching through a series of obstacles designed to help you become better at operating your motorcycle. You will leave a better rider than when you came. While you will learn valuable skills at the session, they are intended to be practiced periodically on your own so you will continue to improve.
Don’t forget to bring lots of water to drink, and any snacks to keep you energized.
