Nothing beats the combination of a hearty breakfast and the open road. Our morning started with some fantastic fellowship and breakfast at Doug’s Diner in Mead before the ride south. This ride was extra special since it was in celebration of International Female Ride Day (IFRD), highlighting the spirit of female motorcycling!
After breakfast, we hit the twisties of Lookout Mountain in Golden. The sweeping turns along the face of the mountain provided great views of the front range. We stopped at the summit to visit Buffalo Bill’s Grave, and to take in a bit of history and incredible panoramic lookouts over the valley.
It was a perfect day to get the bikes out and enjoy the Colorado scenery with a great group of people.
