On day 2 of the Northern Colorado IMRG Thermopolis Road Trip, the morning started out taking in sights of the hotel’s surroundings. We gathered for breakfast, and then mounted our bikes for the ride to Red Lodge. We came upon the fascinating town of Meeteetse, WY where we strolled the main street. We explored the local museum and visited a car show at the edge of town.
We made a stop in Cody for a lunch break where we dined at the renowned Buffalo Bill’s Irma Hotel. The hotel was named after Buffalo Bill’s beloved daughter Irma, and the entire town of Cody was built around this magnificent hotel.
We made it to Red Lodge, MT and managed to stay ahead of an incoming rain storm. That is until we were just about at our destination hotel. After we checked into the hotel and rested for a little while, we went bowling and then ate dinner in town.
