Day 10 – After extending the adventure for an extra day due to weather and re-routing our planned travel route, we arrived home in Colorado. We started the day with some drizzle as we left Goodland, but it quickly cleared. Going north, under cloudy skies, we stopped in Wray, CO for lunch. Some may remember that Wray is where we did a ride to the Beecher Battle Field. After a very delicious lunch, we headed into our home stretch. We approached Greeley under very dark skies, which eventually let loose with rain, but really wasn’t too bad. For the entire trip, we pretty much had good weather and avoided any major storms. It was a bittersweet ending to an awesome road trip that will not soon be forgotten.
