In this month’s Informer:
- Upcoming Chapter Events: Two important events happening on Saturday, December 13th: Wreaths Across America. Join the annual tradition to honor fallen veterans by laying wreaths at their grave sites. Northern Colorado IMRG Christmas Party. Celebrate the holiday season and close out the year of riding and adventures. This party is in place of the normal third Saturday Chapter meeting, so there is NO CHAPTER MEETING ON DECEMBER 20TH.
- Action Required: Renew Your Membership for 2026! Your Northern Colorado IMRG Chapter membership expires on December 31, 2025. Please renew as soon as possible to ensure you maintain your active status for 2026. How to renew can be found in the Newsletter.

- Patrick Cornell’s Epic Ride: Veteran Patrick “Pat” Cornell, known as “Vroom Old Man,” completed his “Indian 125+ for Myotonic” challenge, riding an astounding 145,000 miles in 145 days.
- Motorcycle Fairing History: The newsletter includes an article, “The Wind Tamers: A History of Motorcycle Fairings,” tracing the evolution of fairings from early 1920s racing shells to modern, specialized designs like the iconic Batwing Fairing.
- Motordrome History: Learn about the “Murderdromes,” the highly banked, all-wooden tracks built starting in 1910, which were eventually shut down due to catastrophic crashes that injured and killed racers and spectators.
