July 30, 2022 - July 31, 2022

Happy NoCo IMRG 4th Birthday Ride – Steamboat Springs Overnight

Steamboat Springs (Craig) Overnighter information for those coming on this event.

The Northern Colorado IMRG is celebrating its 4th Anniversary as a Chapter with an overnight ride.  We will ride to Steamboat Springs, spend a little time hanging out in town, and then continue to Craig where we will spend the night before heading home in the morning.

Saturday July 30th
• Meet at Ted’s Place (gas station on corner of Hwy 287 and Poudre Canyon/Hwy 14) at 9:00am with 9:30am KSU
Make sure you have a full tank of gas.
Also make sure you have plenty of water to drink.
You may want to bring a rainsuit.
Also, remember you can complete your Waiver ahead of time to save some time at the meet-up.  The Waivers can be found at Going on NoCo IMRG Group Motorcycle Rides.
• We will stop at the Cameron Pass Summit pullout to rest and for restroom break
• Lunch at the River Rock Café in Walden
We will also top off gas in Walden

• After lunch, we will ride to Steamboat.  It’s anticipated we’ll arrive in Steamboat around 2:45pm.  We’ll park our bikes and explore the town for a couple of hours.

• After exploring Steamboat, we’ll head to Craig about 45mi West of Steamboat to check into our hotels (arrive in Craig ~5:45pm).  If you haven’t booked a hotel yet, these are suggested.

1. Hampton Inn & Suites, Craig
2. Best Western Plus Deer Park Hotel & Suites, Craig
3. Quality Inn & Suites, Craig

• After a shower and rest, we’ll have dinner (~7:30pm) TBD.

Sunday July 31st
• KSU at 8:00am at the Quality Inn
• We will ride to Steamboat Springs for breakfast at Freshies Restaurant
• After breakfast, we will begin our journey home
• We’ll stop in Walden to rest and to top off gas
• We’ll make a couple of additional stops along the Poudre as we continue home
• The ride will end at Ted’s Place (~2:45pm)

This ride is rated 4 (1=easy – 5=difficult) due to curvy mountain roads, possible winds and heat, as well as distance.  Randall will be Lead for this ride with Mark as Sweep.  It is approximately 194 miles between Ted’s Place (Laporte) and Craig.
Let’s Ride, Seek, and Explore together this weekend in Steamboat/Craig!
