SUMMARY:International Female Ride Day
DESCRIPTION:Northern Colorado IMRG Chapter Ride for International Female Ride Day \n  \nEvery year\, on the first Saturday in May\, International Female Ride Day (IFRD) celebrates women motorcycle riders. The day also encourages and empowers other women to get involved in powersports.  NoCo IMRG Chapter members will ride in celebration of IFRD. \nOn Saturday May 4th\, meet at 9:30 a.m. at the Dealership with KSU at 10:00 a.m.  We will ride to Cheyenne and onto Happy Jack Rd for lunch at the Bunkhouse Bar & Grill.  Afterward\, we will continue on Happy Jack and make our way to Laramie.  From Laramie\, we’ll head south on 287 to Poudre Canyon (Hwy 14).  On Poudre Canyon\, we’ll go west to reach Stove Prairie\, then south to Rist Canyon.  We will end our ride in Laporte after traveling east on Rist Canyon. \nHappy Jack Road is a scenic route connecting Cheyenne and Laramie.  Along the way\, you will see a variety of landscapes\, including towering mountains\, and rolling hills.  Riding the route from Highway 287 on Poudre Canyon to Stove Prairie and across Rist Canyon is a scenic and adventurous route. \nThis IFRD ride route is 195 miles with an estimated 5 hours of saddle time.  Elevation ranges from 4.9K feet and 8.7K feet.  The ride is rated at 4-5 (1=easy; 5=hard) with some highway speeds and short interstate riding.  Also lots of curves in foothills and low mountain ranges. \n  \nGoing on NoCo IMRG Group Motorcycle Rides \n \nAbout Northern Colorado IMRG \n \n

Share stories\, bond\, and catch up at our Chapter meetings! \nGot a flat on the road? Don’t get stranded!  Feeling confident on the road means being prepared for anything.  At this month’s meeting we will demo a few methods to patch a motorcycle tire in a pinch. \nAfter our meeting\, for those who would like to go on a group ride\, we will do a short 30 minute flatlander ride to Wellington for lunch at the T-Bar.  This will be an easy Level 1 ride on side roads for a little bit of sun and wind. \n  \nThe Northern Colorado Indian Motorcycle Riders Group of Fort Collins is about riding\, socializing\, and having fun. We have monthly meetings (every 3rd Saturday of the Month) held at the Indian Motorcycle of Fort Collins dealership to talk about IMRG Chapter topics and upcoming events. SUMMARY:NoCo IMRG Road Survival Skills
DESCRIPTION:Northern Colorado IMRG Road Survival Skills Training \nPaul Carroll\, Northern Colorado Safety Advisor and certified motor officer instructor\, will host a Rider Skills Training session for Chapter Members.  He will be teaching us motorcycle skills to help keep us safe out on the road.  These sessions are designed to build and enforce safety\, emergency\, and general riding skills for beginner to advanced riders. Topics include slow speed riding skills\, parking skills\, obstacle avoidance maneuvers\, general bike care\, mental alertness while riding\, and much more! \nAs we have stated before\, you can come for all or some of this training as it is completely FREE of charge and worth your time. This is open to all skill levels\, and also to both two and three wheels.
