DESCRIPTION:This event has been CANCELLED.  Message posted on 5 State Run Facebook page \nAfter much consideration\, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 5-State Run. After discussing the issue with local officials and monitoring the State of Oklahoma’s response\, we believe it is in the best interest for the health and safety of our participants and our community. This is not a decision we take lightly. \nFor those who have pre-registered\, we are honoring your registrations for the 2021 Run. We also understand some of you may be directly impacted by the recent economic downturn. If you have been furloughed\, laid off or your business has been shutdown\, please reach out to us at the email listed below to discuss a refund. We understand our policy states “No Refunds”\, but due to the current national situation we want to do right by our participants who make the Run what it is. \nAs a lot of you may know\, Iron Thunder MC uses this Run as our one and only fundraiser for the year. We use the monies raised to help people in our community facing medical or disaster hardships beyond their control. This decision weighed heavily on us as it will greatly impact our ability to give back to our community and help those in need. We hope you understand our decision and will be ready to head out to No Man’s Land Saturday\, May 8\, 2021\, for the 18th Annual 5-State Run. DESCRIPTION:Join us for the LAST official NoCo IMRG chapter ride for 2019 and the FIRST official chapter ride for 2020.  Yep\, you read that right. We are gathering at Johnson’s Corner in Johnstown on New Year’s Eve\, December 31st.  First we will warm up after riding to Johnson’s Corner in the cold\, then we plan on a very short ride (just a few miles) starting just before midnight\, which will take us on into the New Year and finishing at Johnson’s Corner for some needed coffee\, hot chocolate etc. \nWe will be meeting at Johnsons Corner at 11:30 p.m. (Yes\, just before midnight of New Year’s).  We will gather for a quick ride brief and be on our bikes riding as the 2019 year fades and passes by us and 2020 is brought in by the small ROAR of motorcycles out enjoying a brisk ride to celebrate the NEW YEAR coming in! We hope many of us can join us.  This ride will go on as long at the roads are not snow or ice covered. It will also go on with cold temps. If negative temperatures are expected\, the Safety Director will make decisions based on all factors at that time.  Bundle up and come ride and TRY SOMETHING NEW and EXCITING… What a better way to bring in the NEW YEAR…. We will be meeting at the Indian dealership in Fort Collins at 6:30 p.m. for a short member meeting followed by our fun filled social. We will be having dinner and prizes. (The gifts are not “normal” giveaways- these gifts are something amazing. Come see what they are and maybe you will win one!) Why not come join in the fun\, eat\, and spend time with your wind brothers and sisters along with getting in the spirit of riding at the same time? We hope you can join the fun! \nAt our holiday social\, our new Membership Director (Susan) and our Treasurer (Ted) will have membership forms available (for you to fill out and submit with payment) to acquire your 2020 membership. This year we are requesting that you pay by check to help the processing of our accounts and tracking. Cash will be accepted in exact change. The annual dues for our chapter are $25.00 for the year. Every member needs to renew for 2020 as we run on a calendar year and the membership roster starts over every January. If you are unable to attend this meeting and social\, a separate email will be sent with the information needed to be able to renew at a later date.

DESCRIPTION:REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . \nThis is a nationwide event to honor and appreciate resting veterans that we would like to participate in locally. The ceremony that is being held locally will be held at the Grandview Cemetery in Fort Collins. This ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. There will be a small ceremony and from there the attendees that wish can help place wreaths that have been donated to be placed. We are planning to just meets up at the Grandview Cemetery and join in the celebration. If you are wondering how you can help support this event in another way\, there is still a way to help assist. DESCRIPTION:We have put an additional item on the planner. This ride will begin at Indian of Fort Collins.  Leaving there we will be going to different host homes for Appetizers\, Soup and/or Salad\, Main Entrée\, and Dessert.  That will be (4) four host homes we will embark on to enjoy a small bite and be on the way for nice rides in between to the next course in our complete meal. \nWe really APPRECIATE the HOSTS stepping up to offer their homes and prepare items for our group. We also APPRECIATE our ROAD CAPTAINS in helping with this event as well! It could not be done without them. We have great turnouts for most rides\, and I am sure this will be one you will not want to miss. \nWe will be meeting at Indian of Fort Collins at 10:00am with KSU at 10:30am. COME ENJOY THE RIDE\, FOOD and FUN! See you all there.

SUMMARY:NoCo IMRG Red Feather Lakes Ride
DESCRIPTION:Fall NoCo IMRG Chapter ride to Red Feather Lakes.  This will be a relaxing ride – one that will have you enjoying the easy ride there\, viewing the scenery and enjoying a lunch that you really would like to eat!  The meal will be very enjoyable as you will be bringing a BROWN BAG type lunch to eat there at the site where we will stop.  So hence why you would really enjoy it…YOU ARE PACKING IT and BRINGING IT (there may be a few surprises on this ride\, but you must come to find out what they will be). \nThis being a Sunday ride…. we are going to meet at VERNS Place (4120 Co Rd 54G\, Laporte\, CO 80535) that morning at 10am with KSU at 10:30am. We will make our way to Red Feather (approximately an hour ride) and we will go to Dowdy Lake. Red Feather has a few areas that are common use areas and Dowdy Lake is one of them. There is a place to grab an envelope and pay $5 for the use of the area. I will not be collecting or patrolling this; however\, I will make sure to point out where the box is to drop the fee. There are restrooms in the area at the Lake where we are planning to visit.  We will enjoy our lunch and comradery and then head back to Vern’s where the ride will end.  Any questions on the ride/lunch/fee please talk with Dawn Carroll.
