Estes recently got nearly 8 inches of snow\, and while there’s been some melting\, there could be places in the high country with unexpected snow patches. Also weather forecast in Estes show precipitation later this afternoon and evening\, and with freezing overnight temperatures\, and not really warming up until later in the day on Saturday\, there could be some ice spots.\n\n\n\nMeet at the dealership at 9:00 AM with Kick Stands Up (KSU) at 9:30 AM. SUMMARY:NoCo IMRG Road Survival Skills Training
DESCRIPTION:NoCo IMRG Chapter Member Road Survival Skills Training \nThis training will be at Timberline Church in Fort Collins from 10:00am to 1:00pm.  Our certified instructor will be teaching us motorcycle skills that will help keep us safe out on the road.  As we have stated before\, you can come for all or some of this training as it is completely FREE of charge and worth your time. This is open to all skill levels\, and also to both two and three wheels. Those who have come out before stated they learned a great deal! \nWhile you will learn valuable skills at the session\, they are intended to be practiced periodically on your own so you will continue to improve. \nOur Safety Officer will be putting us thru drills to prepare us for slow speed maneuvers and the handling of our machine during situations that could arise on the roadways. Come check out what Road Survival is all about as you will learn something each time you come that is a promise! You will also have fun doing it! Skills will be held 10:00 am to 1:00pm. If you can come for only part of the Road Survival Skills session\, stop by for the time you can\, it will be well worth it. Hope to see you there! (Reminder there will be a film crew there to gain film footage for an upcoming event promotion) \nDon’t forget to bring lots of water to drink\, and any snacks to keep you energized.  We hope to see you there – You may save your own life by something you learn!!!

DESCRIPTION:Northern Colorado Indian Motorcycle Riders Group Changing of the Year Ride \n\n\n\n\n\n\n** The Changing of the Year ride on New Year’s Eve is CANCELED. **\n\n\n\n\nThough most main arterial roads are clear and dry\, many of the residential roads are still snow packed making it difficult to get to the main roads safely on a motorcycle. The temperatures have remained mostly below freezing for the past couple of days since the snow storm on Monday resulting in very little melting on neighborhood roads. While it will be a bit warmer on Thursday\, it won’t be enough to clear and dry many of the side roads\, and any melting during the day will likely turn to ice by late evening.\n\n\n\nHave a safe and happy New Year!!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n============================================== \n\nThis will be the LAST official Chapter ride for 2020\, and the FIRST official Chapter ride for 2021 as we bring in the New Year in the saddles of our motorcycles. We will gather at Johnson’s Corner in Johnstown shortly before midnight on New Year’s Eve\, hop on our bikes for a short ride (~4.5 miles)\, and ride out of 2020 and into 2021!\n\n\n\n\nMeet at Johnson’s Corner before midnight on December 31 at 11:30 P.M. KSU will be about 10 minutes before midnight. We will ride along the county roads on a brisk ride to celebrate the incoming New Year through the roar of our motorcycles\, and end back at Johnson’s Corner.\n\n\n\n\nWe hope you can join us with the ringing in of the New Year. This ride will continue as planned provided the roads are not snow or ice covered. Needless to say\, be sure to dress warmly. This ride will also go on with cold temperatures. You might want to bring a thermos of coffee or hot chocolate to warm up. While the front entrance of Johnson’s Corner will be open to go inside\, the cafeteria will be closed.\n\n\n\n\nThis is a great way to leave 2020 behind and appease the motorcycle gods to bring us luck in 2021.\n\n\n\nGoing on Group Motorcycle Rides with NoCo IMRG

We feel this is the best thing to do for safety of all our members and we will be following the guidelines that have been set as well. SUMMARY:NoCo IMRG Progressive Dinner Ride
DESCRIPTION:NoCo IMRG Chapter Member Ride | Progressive Dinner Ride. \nProgressive dinner ride is where we make multiple stops at various member homes for a portion of the meal.  1st stop appetizers\, 2nd stop soup/salad\, 3rd stop main course\, 4th stop dessert. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nIt may be cooling down a bit; however\, we are still riding! Make plans for this Sunday\, October 4th for our Progressive ride. We will he starting the ride at the dealership. Meet time is 10:00 am with KSU at 10:30 am. Join us for a day of riding and stopping at host homes for a bite to eat and off again for another ride to another host home and so on.  It will be a nice day to get out and twist the throttle and ride\, be social\, eat\, enjoy friends\, and just plain have FUN!  Temperatures look to be in the high 60’s to low70’s for the areas we will be going to visit\, and as of now … no rain in the forecast!\n\nThis is usually a pretty popular ride so if you have not been on one or have not come and joined your membership in riding and fun – this is a great opportunity to do so and also meet a lot of people! SUMMARY:NoCo IMRG Fall Colors Ride
DESCRIPTION:NoCo IMRG Chapter member Fall Colors Ride \n\n\n\n\n\nFor the Fall Colors ride we will meet at the dealership on Sunday September 27th at 9:00am with KSU at 9:30am. This will be about a 70 mile ride lasting approximately 2.5 hours. Hopefully we will see some nice Fall foliage along the way.\n\n\n\n\n\nWe will ride across Rist Canyon\, then down Stove Prairie Rd toward Masonville. We’ll stop and stretch our legs in Masonville for a bit\, then ride along Horseshoe Reservoir toward Bellvue\, and ride back to the dealership.\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease arrive with a full tank of gas. Remember this is a Sunday and the dealership will be closed\, so be sure to take any restroom breaks before arriving. DESCRIPTION:NoCo IMRG Chapter member Cabela’s Ride \nOn this ride\, we will ride out to Cabela’s\, the World’s Foremost Outfitter of hunting\, fishing and outdoor gear in Sidney\, Nebraska. \n  \nJoin us for a ride where it all began… Cabela’s that is\, in Sydney NE.  Why are we riding to Cabela’s in Syndey\, NE you ask?  Why not – it beats sitting in the house.  We need to take advantage of this riding weather while we have it!  When are we doing this you ask?  Sunday\, Sept 20th. You even have time to plan to come!  We will be meeting at 8:00 am with KSU at 8:30 am at the Dealership.  Come with a full tank of gas and empty bladder as the dealership is closed at that time. We will be making a fuel stop in Sterling.  \nWe are planning to stay off the interstates on this route. We will be visiting the store for a bit then off to a lunch stop. From there we will proceed home. Come out and join your fellow riding brothers and sisters for a nice level 2 flat lander ride.
