DESCRIPTION:NoCo IMRG Chapter Member Road Survival Skills Training \nThis training will be at Timberline Church in Fort Collins from 10:00am to 1:00pm.  Our certified instructor will be teaching us motorcycle skills that will help keep us safe out on the road.  As we have stated before\, you can come for all or some of this training as it is completely FREE of charge and worth your time. This is open to all skill levels\, and also to both two and three wheels. Those who have come out before stated they learned a great deal! \nWhile you will learn valuable skills at the session\, they are intended to be practiced periodically on your own so you will continue to improve. \nOur Safety Officer will be putting us thru drills to prepare us for slow speed maneuvers and the handling of our machine during situations that could arise on the roadways. Come check out what Road Survival is all about as you will learn something each time you come that is a promise! You will also have fun doing it! Skills will be held 10:00 am to 1:00pm. If you can come for only part of the Road Survival Skills session\, stop by for the time you can\, it will be well worth it. Hope to see you there! (Reminder there will be a film crew there to gain film footage for an upcoming event promotion) \nDon’t forget to bring lots of water to drink\, and any snacks to keep you energized.  We hope to see you there – You may save your own life by something you learn!!!

DESCRIPTION:2021 NoCo IMRG Event & Ride Planning \n  \nAs we have in the past\, we are going to come together and plan as much of the ride and event schedule for the new year (2021).  This allows all members to be able to plan ahead\, and to know what we are looking to do.  In years past\, there has been a diverse ride selection and we plan to do the same this year as well. \n  \nSaturday\, January 30th @ 9:00 am\, we are going to meet at the dealership to get our events and rides planned out.  We would love to have you bring any ideas you may want to share and join us.  We would also like to invite the Road Officers to attend with rides and dates they would like to play a part in by planning and leading those rides.  Several events and things have already been slotted such as member meetings\, skilled rider trainings\, and an overnight riding trip (details to come). \n  \nShare your ideas\, you know we love to ride\, and we plan lots of things to keep us in the saddle … we hope to see you there!

DESCRIPTION:Northern Colorado Indian Motorcycle Riders Group Changing of the Year Ride \n\n\n\n\n\n\n** The Changing of the Year ride on New Year’s Eve is CANCELED. **\n\n\n\n\nThough most main arterial roads are clear and dry\, many of the residential roads are still snow packed making it difficult to get to the main roads safely on a motorcycle. The temperatures have remained mostly below freezing for the past couple of days since the snow storm on Monday resulting in very little melting on neighborhood roads. While it will be a bit warmer on Thursday\, it won’t be enough to clear and dry many of the side roads\, and any melting during the day will likely turn to ice by late evening.\n\n\n\nHave a safe and happy New Year!!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n============================================== \n\nThis will be the LAST official Chapter ride for 2020\, and the FIRST official Chapter ride for 2021 as we bring in the New Year in the saddles of our motorcycles. We will gather at Johnson’s Corner in Johnstown shortly before midnight on New Year’s Eve\, hop on our bikes for a short ride (~4.5 miles)\, and ride out of 2020 and into 2021!\n\n\n\n\nMeet at Johnson’s Corner before midnight on December 31 at 11:30 P.M. KSU will be about 10 minutes before midnight. We will ride along the county roads on a brisk ride to celebrate the incoming New Year through the roar of our motorcycles\, and end back at Johnson’s Corner.\n\n\n\n\nWe hope you can join us with the ringing in of the New Year. This ride will continue as planned provided the roads are not snow or ice covered. Needless to say\, be sure to dress warmly. This ride will also go on with cold temperatures. You might want to bring a thermos of coffee or hot chocolate to warm up. While the front entrance of Johnson’s Corner will be open to go inside\, the cafeteria will be closed.\n\n\n\n\nThis is a great way to leave 2020 behind and appease the motorcycle gods to bring us luck in 2021.\n\n\n\nGoing on Group Motorcycle Rides with NoCo IMRG
