SUMMARY:NoCo IMRG Changing of the Year Ride
DESCRIPTION:Northern Colorado Indian Motorcycle Riders Group Changing of the Year Ride \n\n\n\n\n\n\n** The Changing of the Year ride on New Year’s Eve is CANCELED. **\n\n\n\n\nThough most main arterial roads are clear and dry\, many of the residential roads are still snow packed making it difficult to get to the main roads safely on a motorcycle. The temperatures have remained mostly below freezing for the past couple of days since the snow storm on Monday resulting in very little melting on neighborhood roads. While it will be a bit warmer on Thursday\, it won’t be enough to clear and dry many of the side roads\, and any melting during the day will likely turn to ice by late evening.\n\n\n\nHave a safe and happy New Year!!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n============================================== \n\nThis will be the LAST official Chapter ride for 2020\, and the FIRST official Chapter ride for 2021 as we bring in the New Year in the saddles of our motorcycles. We will gather at Johnson’s Corner in Johnstown shortly before midnight on New Year’s Eve\, hop on our bikes for a short ride (~4.5 miles)\, and ride out of 2020 and into 2021!\n\n\n\n\nMeet at Johnson’s Corner before midnight on December 31 at 11:30 P.M. KSU will be about 10 minutes before midnight. We will ride along the county roads on a brisk ride to celebrate the incoming New Year through the roar of our motorcycles\, and end back at Johnson’s Corner.\n\n\n\n\nWe hope you can join us with the ringing in of the New Year. This ride will continue as planned provided the roads are not snow or ice covered. Needless to say\, be sure to dress warmly. This ride will also go on with cold temperatures. You might want to bring a thermos of coffee or hot chocolate to warm up. SUMMARY:NoCo IMRG Changing of the Year Ride (from 2019 into 2020)
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the LAST official NoCo IMRG chapter ride for 2019 and the FIRST official chapter ride for 2020.  Yep\, you read that right. We are gathering at Johnson’s Corner in Johnstown on New Year’s Eve\, December 31st.  First we will warm up after riding to Johnson’s Corner in the cold\, then we plan on a very short ride (just a few miles) starting just before midnight\, which will take us on into the New Year and finishing at Johnson’s Corner for some needed coffee\, hot chocolate etc. \nWe will be meeting at Johnsons Corner at 11:30 p.m. (Yes\, just before midnight of New Year’s).  We will gather for a quick ride brief and be on our bikes riding as the 2019 year fades and passes by us and 2020 is brought in by the small ROAR of motorcycles out enjoying a brisk ride to celebrate the NEW YEAR coming in! We hope many of us can join us.  This ride will go on as long at the roads are not snow or ice covered. It will also go on with cold temps. If negative temperatures are expected\, the Safety Director will make decisions based on all factors at that time.  Bundle up and come ride and TRY SOMETHING NEW and EXCITING… What a better way to bring in the NEW YEAR….
