DESCRIPTION:Northern Colorado IMRG Fort Laramie Chapter Ride \n***** CANCELLED ***** \nDue to the expected cold weather conditions on Saturday October 14th\, intensified by the Wyoming winds and long distance travel\, the Fort Laramie Chapter Ride has been cancelled. We do not want to expose anyone to these less than fair riding conditions. In the meantime\, please stay safe and warm and hope to see you at our Chapter meeting on Saturday October 21st. \n  \n  \n  \nThe NoCo IMRG Fort Laramie Ride is this Saturday\, October 14th. We will meet at Ted’s Place (gas station at corner of Highway 287 & 14). Meet time is 9:30 am with KSU @10:00 am. This will be an all-day ride (7 to 8 hour day). Lunch stop will be somewhere around Wheatland\, WY. We will tour Fort Laramie and finish the day’s ride at the Indian Motorcycle of Fort Collins. \nThis ride will be about 330 miles\, and is rated at a Level 4-5 (depending on the Wyoming wind). \nFort Laramie was first established as a private fur trading post in 1834. Officially\, this first Fort Laramie was named “Fort William” in honor of its founder William Sublette. Fort William was replaced in 1841 by the second Fort Laramie\, which was named “Fort John” and also served as a private trading post. Fort John was purchased by the military in 1849 and officially was renamed “Fort Laramie.” Fort Laramie continued in operation until 1890 when it was abandoned. Fort Laramie evolved into the largest and best known military post on the Northern Plains\, and witnessed the entire sweeping saga of America’s western expansion and Indian resistance to encroachment on their territories. \n  \n  \n  \nGoing on NoCo IMRG Group Motorcycle Rides \n \nAbout Northern Colorado IMRG \n \n\n

SUMMARY:NoCo IMRG - What’s Not to Like? Ride
DESCRIPTION:NoCo IMRG Chapter Ride \nWe have come up with a “What’s Not to Like?” Ride.  We will be meeting at the dealership at 9:00am with KSU at 9:30am (we like to socialize).  We plan to go for a ride (we like to ride!).  We plan to stop at a delicatessen that has a bit of everything… specialty sandwiches\, pies\, cake\, cookies\, pastries\, and various other confectioneries (we like to eat).  We plan to have more than a few laughs and fun (we enjoy getting everyone together and doing what we do best! ).  So as stated…. “What’s not to Like?”  We LOVE it all…. We hope you will come out and join the group and go for the ride and lunch/snack stop. See you Saturday. \nYour lead road officer will be Paul Carroll. The ride will be a level 3-4.  The ride will be around 1.5 hours plus the stop. The stop will be in Ft Collins @ Fiona’s. \nGoing on Group Motorcycle Rides with NoCo IMRG

SUMMARY:NoCo IMRG Chapter Meeting & Ride
DESCRIPTION:NoCo IMRG Chapter Meeting & Ride \nTHIS IS A SATURDAY! NoCo 2036 JULY Chapter Members Meeting.  This was voted on last year to try a Saturday meeting with a ride to follow. We will hold a BRIEF meeting\, a short demonstration\, then leave out on our ride. Currently the plan is the Pikes Peak Chapter is going to be traveling North to join us for some or all of the meeting\, and going along for the ride. \nWe will kick off our Chapter meeting at 10:00 am sharp.  By 10:30 am we plan to have the meeting wrapped up.  It’s anticipated the Pikes Peak chapter will have arrived and gotten their t-shirts and restroom break  We will have a short ride brief and head out on our ride at 11:00am. We plan to take a ride around Horsetooth and Carter lakes to provide some scenic views of the Northern Colorado area to allow our fellow guests to enjoy some of what we get to ride every day if we choose. Around 1:00-1:30 we have a planned lunch stop at Oskar Blues in Longmont. We will have an RSVP set and they will be expecting us. We plan to enjoy lunch and then guide the Pikes Peak Group out closer to their exit route and end the ride. \nPlan to attend and support the chapter in the fun we have at all our events by coming out and getting to know this great group of people coming up to visit. \n  \nGoing on Group Motorcycle Rides with NoCo IMRG \n
