I’ve been riding motorcycles since the early 70’s and owned many brands. In the early 90’s, I traded in my 3 bikes and bought a boat (what else do you own when you’re in Michigan and have a young family with kids?). Although boating was (and is) awesome, I always missed riding.
25-years later, 4 states later, and a whole new life, I got back into motorcycles with a Yamaha V-star. A year later, when Indian re-launched their new bikes, I immediately fell in love with the Roadmaster. I always admired the Indian heritage and history, and their new bikes were absolutely beautiful. In 2016, I purchased my first Indian – a Black and Tan 2015 Roadmaster – and was in 7th Heaven.
Flash-forward 2 years – on the showroom floor at Indian Motorcycles of Fort Collins, sat on a gorgeous Mesa Red and Black 2018 Roadmaster Icon, taunting me and calling my name every time I was there (yes, they do this). In May, 2018, and with the encouragement of my wife, I bought my current bike and took it home.
I have nothing but great things to say about the bike and the brand. Both of my Roadmasters turn heads when people see them. And now, as President of our Northern Colorado IMRG Chapter, I get to be a brand ambassador, and have many new friends to experience life with.
Life is good!
